I never knew that there was a Permian Basin Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. This is located next to the Midland / Odessa airport.

Sunrise in Midland Texas

I went to Midland last week for a few days to help work on a project. As I was heading into work, I saw this spectacular sunrise and decided to stop to see if I could capture it.

Clouds

Lately, I've been taking a lot of cloud photos. We've been getting a lot of rain and because of that, some very interesting cloud formations have been appearing over our skies. This one shows some clouds with a bird flying through the shot.

Pecan trees

This was taken from Highway 28 or the "Old Mesilla Highway" a week ago. This is one of my favorite roads to travel on my motorcycle.

I like the way this photo came out. We were shooting photos on the Rio Grande near Canutillo, TX.

Highway 28

Here's a bicyclist on Highway 28 also known as the Old Mesilla Highway. This is one of my favorite highways to take on a weekend ride. It leads to Old Mesilla, New Mexico from west Texas and is very popular among bikers. It is a very scenic 2 lane road with nice stops such as wineries and farms along the way.

Transmountain road Sunset

This is one of my personal favorite shots. I took this while watching the sun go down from Transmountain road. Transmountain has quickly become one of my favorite shooting sites.
